The proprietor Louise Clarke is an ex professional cook, with a keen interest in food. She takes pride in producing delectable breakfasts, every effort is always made to use the wonderful seasonal local produce available here in West Dorset, and fresh fruit in particular often comes freshly picked from her sister's productive nearby garden. Almost everything that can be home produced is home produced.

Breakfast is usually served between 8.30 and 9.15 am.  Amongst the things you will be offered are:  a platter of fresh fruits, home poached fruits and fruit compotes, Greek yoghurt, mueslis, granola and cereals, full English breakfast, scrambled eggs and
smoked salmon, smoked haddock and poached eggs, squashed avocado with a selection of toppings, vine tomatoes lightly sauteed in coconut oil with herbs from the garden, toasted homemade and sour dough breads, a selection of homemade marmalades and jams, fruit juice and a choice of teas or freshly ground coffee.
